This is a fantastic outfit for Summer. Casual, while being so chic and elegant… and also being perfect for the hot hot heat in Summer!  Wear it with your favorite pair of red flats for a casual look, and then dress it up with heels and red lips for a glamorous look! 

This wrap skirt has been handmade from a linen/rayon/elastane blend… the linen makes it perfect to wear in the heat, the rayon makes it super soft and gives it a little sheen, and the elastane makes it easier and comfortable to wear while also preventing creasing. It will still crease slightly- as it has 54% linen in its composition- but these photos were taken without the skirt being ironed… so hardly any creasing at all!

The contrasting print is a “Liberty of London” cotton print… and it’s just simply gorgeous!!!

The Penelope RED wrap around halter tops have been created using limited edition cotton prints. Only a few copies of each will be created. You can wear them with a strapless bra- the model in the photos is wearing one. Perfect for wearing as a casual blouse, but also something you can easily dress up. The multi coloured cheetah print is an instant eye-catcher, and this top is versatile in those air-conditioned office buildings! Wear it instead of a cardigan at work, and then wear it at night after 5. Choose a colour from the print and wear shoes and a bag in that colour. Handmade from a polyester/elastane blend knit fabric. Another version of the ever popular wrap around halter top, This time in an orange, yellow, green, purple, black and white vintage cotton print. Fully lined with cotton.

This season the PenelopeRED flared pants have been altered into a slightly different style of pant. It is still the same fit as the floral version above, but its been made shorter, with a curved hem, and a different fastening added- buttons down the side, rather than a zip at the centre back. This fastening can also be added to the long flared pant or jeans. Button 3/4 Flared Pants: $240

This animal print halter dress has so many things I love, all in the one design… It has so many colours of the rainbow (and if you have been following my work, you know how much I love colour), it is a cheetah print, it has polka dots, it is a halter neck, and it is so elegant and so comfortable all at once! And who doesn’t love a rainbow coloured cheetah print?!!!!

This dress is all about the volume and drape of the beautiful rainbow cheetah printed fabric! Watch how this dress flows and falls on the body in this video.

This dress is a great way to wear an elegant outfit, but also be very relaxed, as this halter dress is designed to be a loose style. The covered back also means its great for the more modest woman. When creating this style I always like to surprise people with a complete contrast around the neck! I think having something unexpected makes this frock very unique and very PenelopeRED. The multi coloured cheetah print instantly caught my eye, and I knew I had to make this design with it. Wear it with black and white as shown in the photos, or choose a colour from the cheetah design. Handmade from a polyester/elastane blend knit fabric, and vintage cotton neckline. This blouse has been handmade from a stunning rayon/poly blend Devore burnout chiffon- the velvet has been burnt out to reveal the chiffon underneath. The flowers have a beautiful luxurious velvet feel, and then the polka dot background is a chiffon. This stunning fabric has been mixed together with another stunning fabric for the high collared neck line. Only five copies can be made of this style. At time of print only TWO MORE COPIES AVAILABLE.

This top style has been made and re-made into countless fabrics over the years as it truly is a very versatile style. Wear it with a black bra, like it is in the photos. Wear it with a camisole another day. Wear it with a black skivvy or turtleneck in winter. Wear it with a PenelopeRED bolero too. Wear it tucked in or out. The high neck also means it can be quite a modest style, and therefore a good outfit for the office.

The Devore Blouse: $180

Add a skirt to the Sequin Cami and heels, and you have a fabulous outfit for night! The Purple Orange Deco Skirt has been handmade from a vintage 100% cotton sateen, and a vintage gold and cream trim. It features a very unique Art Deco inspired print. There is enough of the Art Deco fabric to make up to four more copies. Sequin Cami: $180. Purple Orange Deco Skirt: $160.

The Sequin Cami has been handmade from a sequined mesh lace, silk lining and a lace edging. This style looks great as a casual look with jeans, but it can be easily dressed up with a skirt, like the Deco Skirt pictured in the other pics. At time of print there is enough Sequin mesh to make approximately 5 copies. Price: $180

The Silver Singlet has been handmade from a very special knit fabric that features a tactile print of faux silver “sequins”. Wear this style as a casual top during the day and it still has a bit of bling to make things exciting! Only sample size 10 is available in the Silver Singlet: $90.

Although this style is a simple relaxed fit singlet, the fabrication brings it to another level! I can also create this in a rose gold bling knit fabric too. Only two copies can be created of this style, and only one is left.

The Penelope Red Summer Wrap Dress has also been created in a linen version, which is a 100% linen, handmade with a vintage rik-rak trim around the neckline. This dress is now a one of a kind design. You may notice it looks a little big on the model at the back and around the shoulders/armhole, and that is because this dress is an AU size 12 (and the model is more like a 10 in this area). The Floral Flared Pants will be a perfect addition to your Spring/Summer wardrobe! Handmade from a cotton/elastane blend, the print just says it all- Spring is here!!! Imagine this outfit at the races… or wear them to a party! Wear them to work with a plainer blouse on top. They can be as versatile as you would like them to be! The pants feature a high waist, with pockets at the front- they are the same fit as the Red Flared Pants and Penelope RED jeans from last season. Penelope Red kimonos are great for many occasions and can be very versatile. Perfect worn with jeans on the weekend, or you could wear it with a fabulous skirt and heels to dress it up for a party. Welcome to the PenelopeRED workroom! The Blue Zebra Kimono is handmade from a silk cotton voile, and the best way to show the flow of this style is to see it moving on a body. Notice all the pleats in the back at the shoulders and around the waist. This style features an adjustable tie at the waist and generally fits an Australian size 8 to 14.

Each year the wrap around halter top style, pictured above, is created out of a few limited edition cotton prints. This year is no exception. Currently at time of print there are three prints to order your size in. Only three halter neck copies can be created out of this print, the Spring Pink Floral. This style features a very adjustable design, with a relaxed fit, overlapping button back, neck tie, and fully lined. Wear this halter blouse with the Floral Flared Pants, as shown tucked in, or out. Did anybody say colour?!!!! If you are looking for a fun, colourful outfit then here it is! The Rainbow Stripe Silk Blouse features 6 small pleats around the scoop neckline, and has a loose fit around the waist, with a curved hem. This style is all about the stunning print, and it needed to be shown off in a simple and versatile design, so you can wear it in many outfits. It is pictured here with the PenelopeRED Floral Pink Mini Skirt, which again is bright and multi coloured, but you could just as easily wear it with a pair of black pants or jeans for a toned down look. This mini skirt features a multi coloured floral print on the front and back, and then side panels in hot pink. The panel line has been decorated with a gold and black vintage trim. This style has a fitted high waist. Pink Floral Mini Skirt: $180

Both the Rainbow Stripe Blouse, and the Pink Floral Mini Skirt have been created from some beautifully printed fabrics. The blouse is handmade from a silk crepe de chine. A different version of the halter dress, this time created out of a Liberty of London cotton print. This fabric and style is perfect for summer! A perfect outfit for a party, the races or many other special occasions in Spring and Summer! 

The dress is handmade from two Liberty of London Tana lawn cotton prints. Liberty of London is very famous for creating the most beautiful, intricately detailed, vibrant prints. The Tana lawn weight is perfect for summer as it is very light, while still not transparent. It dries quickly, and is so soft to wear, while being very easy to wash in the machine. I can’t say enough good things about this fabric! It is more expensive than other fabrics I use, but worth it! Hot Pink Floral Halter Dress $280
