I have been a fashion designer for over 18 years, I have been a constant sewer and craft enthusiast for over 35 years, and a teacher for 2 years. Together we can create something AMAZING!
I like to start by understanding the skill level of where each client is at, and tailoring the lesson to those needs. We can start at very basic level i.e. learning to thread a machine, to a more advanced level depending on your experience.
Currently I am offering portable private lessons, with the option of some classes moving forward.
Portable private lessons with me are available in the inner Sydney Metropolitan area, which includes the following:
Eastern Suburbs
South: as far as Hurstville
North: as far as Chatswood
West: as far as Flemington
A portable lesson means I will come to you with a sewing machine. All you will need is a table to work on. A clean dining table is usually the best. You will need a big enough area to cut out your work, and set up a sewing machine at the end. If the table can be extended then this is ideal!
We can discuss materials/tools needed, as we progress. Some materials will be provided, and some tools, especially for beginners, so you won’t need to worry for your first lesson.

How to book your private sewing lesson:
I am available at the following times to book an appointment:
Mondays during the school term: 10am to 1pm
Tuesdays during the school term: 10am until 7pm
Fridays: 5pm to 7pm
Saturdays: 9am to 11am
Prices:
Every lesson must be a minimum two hour booking.
The first two hours are $150 for a two hour private lesson inside your home.
If you want to continue the lesson, after the first two hours, each hour after that is $65.
If you want to book multiple lessons in a row, and pay for it in advance, each hour booked will be priced at $65 per hour (with a minimum 2 hour block per lesson). This offer is available for anyone who wants to book a minimum 5 lessons in a row.
